As part of accepting this award, I'm to share with you about how this blog got started. I've spent a good amount of my life travelling and living abroad. I spent a majority of my time in Asia and always had a fascination with the Japanese culture. I love photography and taking pictures that capture a special moment in life--whether that moment be stunning, beautiful or even the ordinary everyday mundane. I believe each moment is special and I try to convey those special moments through the pictures posted here on my blog. I believe each picture tells a story and that story may be different to the person looking at it. So I started this blog to share those pictures of the places I've been and of the experiences I've encountered along my life's journey, hoping you all enjoy them and find inspiration in them.
The second part to accepting this award is to offer advice for new bloggers. My advice is simple. Do what you're passionate about, write what you're passionate about and post what you're passionate about. If you do that, you will not only enjoy what you're doing, but you will soon discover many other people out there who share your same passion and are inspired by what you do. There is no greater feeling than knowing what you're doing is an inspiration to others.
