To be honest, we think it is only in Japan and perhaps Korea where the traditional dress is still worn on "casual" times - such as festivals etc. Not in China, which is strange!
Come to mention it, that is strange. I never really seen anything similar in my travels to China. I'm sure there are still some people who do, but it's not very common like in Japan and Korea.
